RKSA Company History
1984
Kilang Rantai S.A. Sdn. Bhd. (KRSA) was incorporated in Seberang Perai Industrial Estate.
1992
Successfully signed the “Technical Advice Agreement” with RK Excel Co. Ltd Japan.
2001
Established Kilang Sprocket S.A. Sdn. Bhd. (KSSA), a sister company of KRSA and motorcycle sprocket manufacturing.
2005
Excel Rim Sdn. Bhd. is officially incorporated for motorcycle/bicycle rim production in Malaysia.
Jan 2010
PTSTT (currently known as RK-Indonesia) is incorpoarted to expand the chain & sprocket market to Indonesia.
Aug 2010
KRSA merge with RK Japan to extend the mastery on chain and sprocket manufacturing.
Sep 2010
Business expansion to Thailand and Philippines by incorporating 2 new sales branch namely RK-Thai & RK-Philippines.
Dec 2011
Business expansion to Vietnam, RK-Vietnam.
Jan 2013
Achieve new milestone in business by bought over RK Excel America (California).
Jul 2013
Officially rename KRSA to RK South Asia Sdn. Bhd. Successfully incorporate RK-Europe in France.
Jun 2016
Further business expansion to Pakistan by incorporating RK-Autogic.
Mar 2018
Establish partnership with Makino Automotive to pair local made sprocket with RK chain in India market.
